Edward Ramos Sousa
Edward Ramos Sousa counsels clients on international finance, investment banking, business immigration, international business negotiations, drafting contracts and other international legal matters.
In 1985, Mr. Ramos Sousa was appointed by the New York City Comptroller to serve as Principal Administrator for the Executive Division of the New York City Comptroller's Office. Prior to that appointment, he served with the National Labor Relations Board and with private international business consulting and investment banking organizations. Mr. Ramos Sousa has been in private practice as a lawyer since 1988.
Mr. Ramos Sousa lectures on international law matters and recently presented a report sponsored by the Chile Center for Education and Development.
Mr. Ramos Sousa studied at the University of Paris (Sorbonne -- Paris IV) and earned a Language Certificate there in 1977. In 1978, he graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in politics and Latin American Studies. Mr. Ramos Sousa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1981. He is a native English speaker and is fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Lawrence Knoll
Lawrence Knoll has been practicing law since 1988.
He began his career serving with the Honorable Jane Restani at the
U.S. Court of International Trade.
Mr. Knoll counsels clients on international business law matters including:
sales transactions, distribution agreements, agency agreements, licensing,
joint ventures, mergers,
acquisitions, venture capital, e-commerce, logistics, as well as
U.S. customs and international trade regulations.
He is a member of the Customs and International Trade Bar Association.
Mr. Knoll lectures on developments within international corporate
and commercial law as well as on U.S. customs
and international trade law. In 2010, he will lead a university seminar on international negotiations.
Mr. Knoll earned his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania Law School,
during which time he served as an associate editor for the Comparative Labor Law Journal
and studied international business at The Wharton School. In addition to his
responsibilities as a lawyer and consultant, Mr. Knoll participates in
several academic and public service committees.
